A new paradigm in Global Trade
Hop2It has created a new paradigm. Using the Hop2It ‘state of the art’ platform, even small food producers and manufacturers will be able to sell their goods to businesses and customers in emerging Eastern countries such as China and India among others. Once the Hop2It portal is launched, these businesses will be able to market their products directly to these massive populations which will eventually contribute to balancing the trade inequities between Western countries and the emerging Eastern markets that have for so long provided cheap goods to the West.
Traditionally global trade has been restricted to large manufacturing or multinational companies because of the many barriers to entry. A huge barrier to entry for small to medium sized businesses has been the capabilities and costs associated with filling containers of product to be shipped through agents and importers, and then distributed through wholesalers and retail chains. If this is overcome, another barrier is the cost associated with building and promoting brand recognition in a foreign country. Then there are the issues of understanding and navigating cultural and societal differences. And of course, the local laws and regulations must be understood and adhered to.. And then even if all those barriers are overcome, the ability to get money out of a country can be problematic. While countries like China and India represent the Mecca for trade for many western businesses, the sheer size and challenges, including their insular often ‘closed loop’ currency systems has been an insurmountable barrier to entry for all but multinational corporations.
At present, it is recommended that a business wishing to expand into the rapidly growing Asian market should participate in the Hop2It ‘Listing service’. This service lists businesses and their products so that other businesses in the Asian corridor who want to locate products can contact the businesses directly.
In the first quarter of 2016, when the Hop2It global eCommerce and mCommerce portal is launched into China and other Southeast Asian countries, businesses will have the opportunity to join the portal, and advertise and market directly to these populations and, simultaneously, get instantly paid for their sales.
